Celebrate 100 years of Scouting by participating in the Centennial Patriot Muster in Newbury, Massachusetts, on June 12-13, 2010! Cub Scouts are assigned to regiments and dress up as colonial MinuteCubs; participate in demonstrations from blacksmiths, cobblers, tin mongers, coopers, pottery makers, gunsmiths and battlefield surgeons; build their own marshmallow-shooting muskets to be used in a Cub Scout marshmallow battle; learn to throw tomahawks (at targets); sample colonial vittles made the old-fashioned way; witness Revolutionary battle re-enactments featuring dragoons, cannon bombardments and 600+ re-enactors; and celebrate at a large patriotic campfire with music of the day and special guests, including Benjamin Franklin! Caroling at Hillsborough County Nursing Home -- Dec 13

Come and sing for about an hour to warm the hearts of the elderly. This event starts at 11:00 a.m. (sharp)

It's Fun to Stay at the Y.M.C.A. --Dec 5th, it's all to ourselves!!!!

Like Sports? Wall Climbing? Swimming? Tennis? Basketball? Then don't miss this annual event where we take over the entire Goffstown YMCA (Allard Center) Arrive between 7:30 and 7:45pm!!... REGISTER ON THE LINK TO THE RIGHT.....Wear SNEAKERS (no street shoes allowed) AND YOUR BLUE PACK T-SHIRT + a snack & beverage. You may want to bring your own tennis racquets and/or basketballs + perhaps a combination lock as well for use in the locker rooms....Please DO bring a TOYS FOR TOTS -- we will have a collection bin as in years past. (new & unwrapped)....If using Scout Account -- please indicate that on the registration under "Special notes". We will also accept payment directly to Jacques Plante or Andy Violette.....WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS FOR SIBLINGS !!! .

Scouting For Food (Drop Off = Nov 7) / (Pick Up = Nov 14)

A great service project! Cub Scouts and their parents can show up to Bedford Presbyterian Church Saturday morning 11/7 from 8-noon. There you'll sign in and pick up bags and routes, then deliver door tags to all homes along the assigned route. Return to church to sign out, or to pick up another route. Please wear your Class A uniforms!

Then, on Nov 14, show up again at the Church 9am to 1pm to pick out a route map (may be different from previous route). Pick up filled bags of donated food at houses along the assigned route and deliver back to the Presbyterian Church.

November 20: SHOW OFF YOUR: Hobby/Talent/Science Project!

Our November Pack Meeting is YOUR time to show off a hobby of yours (Lego building, Bug collections, Photography, etc.) OR a talent (like playing the trumpet, juggling ice cream cones, magic tricks, etc.) OR a cool Science Project (like magnetism, bionics, or how to create icebergs on tropical islands, etc.) Cub Scouts, be thinking about what YOU want to showcase NOW!!!! See you on Nov 20 at Memorial School Cafeteria at 6:30!!!!!!!!!!

CARNIVAL NIGHT -- the most EXCITING pack meeting of the year!

Are you ready to have LOTS of fun and win great prizes at Pack 114's Carnival Night on October 16th?! Then grab the whole family and head over to the gym at St Elizabeth Seton (the Catholic Church at 190 Meetinghouse Rd) for the 6:30pm start! There will be plenty of carnival games - both old favorites and new challenges - and a table full of prizes to choose from: At this pack meeting, EVERYONE is a winner!
