May 15 is payment deadline for Camp!

Posted on May 8 2010 - 10:02pm

If your scout is signed up for Day Camp, Akela Camp or Resident Camp at Camp Carpenter this summer, you'll want to get your final payment in by May 15, since the price goes up after that date! Day Campers and Akela Campers should send their checks to the Council office at 571 Holt Ave, Manchester, NH, 03109, while Resident Campers should send their checks to our pack treasurer, Jacques Plante, at 390 Joppa Hill Road.

If your scout is not yet signed up for camp, but wants to go... It's not too late to register! Day Campers and Akela Campers can register online at www.nhscouting.org/camping and Resident Campers should contact Gretchen Osgood at pack114den7@gmail.com and send a check for $275 to Jacques Plante (390 Joppa Hill) by May 15.

Race Day is Saturday May 8 at Memorial Sch Cafeteria (5pm)!

Posted on May 7 2010 - 6:36am

How we normally do this: We race all of the Tigers first (they are in a league of their own) and determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. Then we race all Wolves, Bears, and Webelos together in a larger grouping. We will determine 1st 2nd and 3rd place for each rank, then have a Race-Off where we will crown 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of the older boys. Plan on at least 2 hours for this entire event, though Tigers and their families could leave after the Tiger portion has completed if you would like. Don't forget to eat dinner before or afterwards!
